Audience Research

To define our target audience we have to investigate both genres that we have merged into one; crime and mystery.

Crime films attract both a male and female audience, the certificate for these films is usually 15, therefore the age range should be around 15-40. 

Mystery films require a lot more concentration and involve the audience to interact more with the film through problem solving but can also be more child orientated, this hints at the audience age being around 12-30 as well. 

So merging both Crime and Mystery together our target audience should be aged about 15 to 35, being both males and females. 

To define our target audience I will concentrate on two people, one male and one female, both of who will represent the audience profile.
