Certificates

Certificates are a really important part of the film industry. They define who your final audience will be as they establish how old you have to be to view a film.

The BBFC (British Broadcasting Film Company) are the company who assign certificates to every film that is being broadcast in Britain. Without the BBFC's certificate the film cannot be released in Britain.

When releasing our film we would have to go to the BBFC to negotiate the certificate that our film will be classed under.

We plan on our film being assigned the 15 certificate as this clearly marks our audience and we feel that the content will be suitable for this certificate.
